Purchase Executive Fresher Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Prepare purchase orders for approved requisitions
2. Negotiate with vendors for the best discounts, credit terms, and additional services
3. Follow up with suppliers for timely quotations and delivery, and invite at least three vendor quotations for finalization based on comparison
4. Plan logistics for connecting spares, stores, and lubricants by consolidating them to minimize transportation costs
5. Handle customs formalities and clearing costs
6. Monitor vessel status on various inspections and due dates
7. Liaise with concerned departments to organize equipment servicing and renew certificates
8. Organize technicians for repairs on vessels as per received requisitions and coordinate with technical and administrative departments to arrange services within the given time frame
9. Maintain the weekly invoicing tracker
10. Update all purchase requisitions in Danaos Software
11. Assist in any other tasks assigned by the Department Head or Unit Head
