We are having a new role requirement for our purchase department in a Singapore-based ship management company.
Designation: Purchase executive/technical assistant (female candidates only)
Location: Chembur
Key responsibilities:
1. Preparing the purchase orders for approved requisitions
2. Negotiating with vendors for best discounts /credit and additional services
3. Working on complete follow-up with suppliers for timely quotations and timely supply within the committed period and inviting at least 3 vendor quotations for finalizing on the basis of comparison
4. Planning logistics for connecting spares/stores/lubes by consolidating them in order to minimize transportation costs
5. Handling custom formalities and clearing costs
6. Monitoring vessel status on various inspections/due dates
7. Liaising with concerned departments and organizing the servicing of equipment and renewing certificates
8. Organizing technicians for various repairs on the vessel as per the received requisitions in the department and coordinating with technical and administrative departments to arrange the service within the given time frame
9. Maintaining the weekly invoicing tracker
10. Updating all purchase requisitions on the Danaos software
11. Assisting in any other tasks assigned by the department head/unit head
1. Those who are from or open to relocate to Mumbai and neighboring cities
Qualifications :
1. Female candidates located in Mumbai preferred
2. Bachelors in mechanical/electrical engineering OR bachelors in supply chain management
3. Strong attention to detail and accuracy
4. Freshers who possess good command over spoken & written English would be requisite as the role requires a lot of coordination with international global vendors
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,16,000 - 3,50,000 /year
