Key responsibilities:

1. Develop, lead, and execute purchasing strategies in the business unit
2. Improve key functional metrics to improve effectiveness
3. Forecast price and market trends to identify changes
4. Seek & partner with reliable vendors and suppliers with a focus on value engineering and cost-benefit
5. Establish & develop benchmarking standards for all vendors and alternative parts
6. Develop import strategies with a focus on quality, reducing lead time and cost reduction
7. Monitor & forecast upcoming levels of demand and supportive credit control
