About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Greet and welcome patients and visitors in a courteous and professional manner.
2. Answer and direct phone calls, taking messages and managing inquiries efficiently.
3. Schedule and confirm patient appointments, managing the clinic s calendar effectively.
4. Maintain patient records, ensuring all information is accurate and up-to-date.
5. Handle billing and payments, providing receipts and managing the clinic's cash flow.
6. Assist patients with forms and documentation as required.
7. Keep the reception area clean and organized, ensuring it presents a welcoming atmosphere.
8. Collaborate with the clinical staff to ensure smooth operation and patient flow.
9. Manage incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries.

Effective Communication MS-Excel MS-Office

Other requirements

1. High school diploma or equivalent; additional certification in Office Management is a plus.

2. Proven experience as a receptionist or in a similar role, preferably in a healthcare setting.

3. Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and familiar with office equipment (e.g., printers, scanners).

4. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

5. Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

6. Friendly and professional demeanor with a focus on patient care.

7. Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality.

8. Basic knowledge of medical terminology and billing is advantageous.

9. Language - English, Hindi, Kannada will be preferred
