About the job

Key responsibilities:

A. Sales:
1. Achieve set business targets on ANP and case count
2. Acquire new customers through leads, market references, and servicing the orphan base
3. Conduct need analysis, explain products, and fix meetings with prospects
4. Implement a need-based selling model and adhere to it
5. Upsell and cross-sell to the allocated customer base
6. Ensure timely policy issuance by resolving pending cases
7. Provide prompt post-sales service to all allocated customers
8. Adhere to the customer touch-point engagement framework
9. Maintain the desired persistency ratio
10. Strategize and interact with the supervisor to deliver on business numbers
11. Conduct joint sales calls with the supervisor as required
12. Develop and implement short-term and long-term sales plans to achieve targets
13. Adhere to the advised activity management framework
14. Follow up on database/leads provided by the lead management system

B. Customer Orientation and MIS Reporting:
1. Update the lead management system on a daily basis
2. Adhere to the training road map
3. Provide timely reports to the supervisor as per the requirement
4. Ensure compliance to internal sales process
5. Ensure adherence to TALIC policies and procedures
6. Participate in risk mitigation plans, contingency planning, and business continuity programs by executing and reporting within defined timelines
7. Highlight and recommend process gaps, flaws, and process changes

Other requirements

1. Graduate

2. Minimum 2 years of experience in a similar role (preferred)

3. Age should be below 30 years

4. Proficiency in local language and English

5. Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations including percentage calculations, etc.

6. Ability to work in a team (desired)

7. Creative thinking skills (desired)

8. Supervising/leadership skills (desired)

9. Good interpersonal skills 

10. Excellent communication skills

11. Influencing skills

12. Decision-making skills
