1. Design, build, and maintain high-performance, reusable, and reliable Java code
2. Ensure the best performance, quality, and responsiveness of the application
3. Perform unit testing to check for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and reliability
4. Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
5. Design and build applications for the Android platform
6. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
7. Identify and fix bugs to help automate, organize, and maintain code quality
8. Have a working knowledge of the general mobile landscape, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
9. Be proficient in Java and Kotlin
10. Prior experience as an Android developer will be an advantage
11. Be proficient in working with remote data via REST and JSON
12. Have a good understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle and its architecture
13. Have a strong knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and how to deal with different screen sizes
14. Be skillful in RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to backend services
15. Be able to use Android Studio, including the Android SDK, with ease
16. Have excellent coding and proofreading skills
17. Be proficient in offline storage, threading, and performance tuning
