Key Responsibilities:
1. Creating complex, enterprise-transforming data analytics on the Big Data platform using the latest tools and techniques.
2. Engaging in hands-on coding within highly collaborative teams, building quality code and deliverables.
3. Understanding the business domain deeply and work closely with stakeholders to develop applications using Big Data and Java technologies.
4. Learning and adopting new technologies to implement business use cases.
5. Implementing batch and real-time data ingestion/extraction processes through ETL, Streaming, API, etc., between diverse source and target systems with structured and unstructured datasets.
6. Designing and building data solutions with a focus on performance, scalability, and high reliability.
7. Coding, testing, and documenting new or modified data systems to create robust and scalable applications.
Required skills:
1. Proven expertise in designing and programming large-scale data-driven solutions using high-level programming languages such as Java or Scala (0-2 years).
2. Strong inclination towards mathematical modelling and solutions for real-world problems.
3. Proficiency in Python and Java programming languages.
4. Strong SQL skills.
5. Excellent problem-solving, communication, and teamwork abilities.
6. Experience building REST Web services using Java.
7. Hands-on experience with NoSQL databases like DynamoDB, distributed and unstructured databases.
8. Experience with AWS and Elasticsearch.
9. Self-driven, results-oriented, and highly motivated to work with cross-cultural teams.
