1. Conduct comprehensive market research to identify potential clients, market trends, and business opportunities
2. Analyze market data to develop insights and strategies for business development initiatives
3. Identify and qualify leads through various channels including cold calling, networking events, online research, and referrals
4. Develop and maintain a database of prospects and track progress through the sales pipeline
5. Initiate contact with prospective clients to understand their needs, challenges, and objectives
6. Build and nurture relationships with clients through regular communication, meetings, and presentations
7. Collaborate with the consulting team to develop tailored proposals and presentations for prospective clients
8. Present proposals to clients, addressing their specific requirements and showcasing our capabilities and value proposition
9. Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to network with potential clients and partners
10. Identify partnership opportunities and collaborate with external stakeholders to expand business opportunities
11. Work closely with internal teams including marketing, consulting, and operations to ensure alignment of business development activities with company goals and objectives
12. Provide feedback and insights to improve marketing materials, messaging, and sales processes
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field (Master's degree preferred)
2. Knowledge/experience in business development, sales, or related fields, preferably in the consulting or professional services industry
3. Strong understanding of business development strategies, sales techniques, and market dynamics
4. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
5. Willingness to travel as needed
