About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Design, develop, and deploy Java-based applications and services.
2. Utilize AWS Lambda functions to build serverless applications and microservices.
3. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and develop solutions.
4. Implement best practices for code quality, security, and scalability.
5. Troubleshoot and debug issues to ensure smooth operation of applications.
6. Stay updated on emerging technologies and industry trends in Java development and AWS services.
7. Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to team members.
8. Document code and technical designs to facilitate knowledge sharing and maintainability.
9. Support continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) processes.
10. Contribute to the improvement of development processes and methodologies.

Other requirements

1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

2. Proven experience as a Java Developer, with a strong understanding of Java programming language and its ecosystem.

3. Hands-on experience with AWS services, particularly Lambda, API Gateway, DynamoDB, S3, and IAM.

4. Familiarity with serverless architecture and best practices for developing and deploying Lambda functions.

5. Proficiency in designing and implementing RESTful APIs.

6. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.

7. Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

8. Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

9. Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

10. AWS certification(s) (e.g., AWS Certified Developer) is desirable but not required.
