About the job

Key Responsibilities:

1. Provide support for MS Office applications, Python scripts, and troubleshoot issues within these domains.
2. Assist in diagnosing and solving technical problems on Linux and Windows platforms when applicable.
3. Respond to and resolve technical support tickets, ensuring customer satisfaction by maintaining clear communication and providing timely solutions.
4. Document issue resolutions and standard procedures in the knowledge base.
5. Monitor system performance and provide proactive support for applications within the ESM domain.
6. Conduct routine maintenance checks on designated systems, assisting in any upgrades or troubleshooting.
7. Educate and guide end-users on basic troubleshooting and application usage to reduce recurring support issues.
8. Assist in the preparation of user guides and support documentation for common technical issues.
9. Work closely with the technical team, escalating complex issues when necessary.
10. Collaborate with team members to enhance system performance and improve support processes.

Skill(s) required

Java Linux MS-Office Python
Earn certifications in these skills

Other requirements

1. Solid understanding of MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and experience in automating tasks using Python.

2. Basic knowledge of operating systems, especially Windows and Linux.

3. Strong problem-solving abilities to diagnose, analyse, and resolve technical issues effectively.

4. Ability to clearly articulate technical information to non-technical users in a friendly and professional manner.

5. Familiarity with Java programming and web development frameworks.

6. Any relevant certifications in MS Office, Python, Linux, or ESM tools will be advantageous.

7. A focus on providing high-quality service and ensuring customer satisfaction.

8. Ability to adapt quickly to new tools and technologies.

9. High attention to detail, especially when resolving technical issues.

10. Willingness to collaborate and contribute to team success.

11. A desire to learn and grow in a technical support role, especially within the ESM domain.
