(a) Technical support and troubleshooting:
1. Diagnosing and resolving hardware and software issues related to networking.
2. Providing support for network configuration and connectivity problems.
3. Assisting clients or internal teams with network-related inquiries and problems via phone, email, or on-site.
(b) Network maintenance and monitoring:
1. Monitoring network performance to ensure systems are operating optimally.
2. Performing routine network maintenance and upgrades, including patches and service packs.
3. Implementing and managing network security measures.
(c) Network configuration:
1. Configuring and installing various network devices and services (e.g., routers, switches, firewalls, load balancers, VPNs).
2. Managing IP addresses and network configurations.
(d) Documentation and reporting:
1. Documenting network configurations, issues, and resolutions.
2. Maintaining accurate records of technical support requests and resolutions.
3. Preparing reports on network performance and incidents.
(e) Collaboration and communication:
1. Working with other IT professionals to ensure network reliability and efficiency.
2. Communicating effectively with non-technical users to understand their issues and explain solutions.
3. Providing training and support to users and IT staff as needed.
(f) Continuous improvement:
1. Staying updated with the latest industry trends and technologies.
2. Participating in continuous professional development.
3. Recommending improvements to enhance network performance and security.
Required qualifications:
1. Bachelor s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Proven experience as a technical support engineer, network engineer, or similar role.
3. Strong understanding of networking fundamentals, including TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and subnetting.
4. Experience with network hardware and software (e.g., Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet).
5. Familiarity with network diagnostic tools and monitoring software.
6. Certifications such as CCNA, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent are highly desirable.
1. Candidate should be from Bangalore & he should have all the educational certificates like PDC, also Aadhar, and Pan with them.
