Key responsibilities:

1. Sales and Customer Service: The Travel Sales Executive is responsible for promoting and selling travel-related products and services to customers. They must use their expertise to craft personalized travel plans that meet or exceed client expectations. This involves understanding client needs, offering tailored advice, and consulting on destinations, accommodations, transport options, and travel insurance, among other aspects.

2. Sales Targets and Performance: Achieving or exceeding assigned sales targets is a primary responsibility. The executive should implement effective sales strategies and techniques to maximize sales opportunities. This includes the management of the variable component of the compensation package, which is performance-based.

3. Market Research and Product Knowledge: The executive must continually research and stay up-to-date with the latest trends in the travel industry, including new destinations, travel services, and promotional offers. This knowledge should be used to provide clients with the best possible travel options and deals.

4. Client Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with clients is essential. This includes follow-ups on inquiries, handling booking amendments or cancellations professionally and ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction to encourage repeat business and referrals.

5. Compliance and Documentation: Ensuring all bookings and sales are compliant with travel regulations and company policies. This involves accurate processing of bookings, securing payments, issuing tickets, and ensuring all travel documentation is complete and correct.

6. Technology Proficiency: The Travel Sales Executive must have and efficiently use their laptop for various tasks including client communication, creating travel itineraries, processing bookings, and conducting market research. Proficiency in relevant software and platforms is required.

7. Location Adaptability: The candidate must be prepared to work in the specified job location without expectations of additional compensation for location-based adjustments. This includes being comfortable with the designated working environment and any commute requirements.

8. Work Schedule Adherence: The executive is expected to work from Monday to Saturday, with a commitment of 8-9 hours per day. This requires excellent time management skills and the ability to balance multiple tasks efficiently.

Additional Candidate Preferences for Travel Sales Executive:

2. Sales Experience: Beyond the minimum requirement of 1 year in the travel industry, experience in sales roles, particularly those involving direct customer interaction and negotiation, is preferred. This experience helps in understanding and executing effective sales strategies

3. Professional Certification: Possession of professional certifications related to the travel industry (e.g., Certified Travel Consultant (CTC), Certified Travel Industry Executive (CTIE)) is an added advantage, reflecting a commitment to professional development and expertise in the field

4. Personal Travel Experience: Candidates who have extensive personal travel experience may offer unique insights and a deeper understanding of customer needs and expectations, enriching the service they provide

Duration: 3 months
Salary during probation: ₹25,000 - 35,000 /month
After probation:

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,00,000 - 3,84,000 /year
