The ideal candidate will have strong creative skills and a portfolio of work which demonstrates their passion for illustrative design and typography. This candidate will have experience in working with numerous different design platforms such as digital and print forms.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop concepts and sketches for all projects
2. Collaborate with the marketing team, editorial team, and authors to conceptualize projects and craft briefs
3. Conduct market research for all projects, focusing especially on book covers and illustration styles
4. Review junior designer concepts and designs, offering suggestions and guidance
5. Design covers, illustrations, graphics, logos, typeface, brochures, advertisements, and in-house marketing materials
6. Source materials as needed for projects, including photography and web design assistance
7. Create design samples to send to authors and associated departments
8. Present completed designs to clients and executives for final approval
Requirements:
1. Software knowledge required
2. Adobe Photoshop
3. Adobe Illustrator
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in graphic design or a related field
2. 1-2 years of experience in graphic design
3. Proficient in Adobe Creative Suite
4. Strong communication, conceptual thinking, typography skills, and design skills
5. Portfolio of work
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,16,000 - 2,40,000 /year
Annual CTC breakup:
1. Fixed component: 80%
2. Variable component: 10%
3. Other incentives: 10%
