Job Overview
We are seeking a meticulous and experienced Hospital Medical Transcriptionist to join our team at Spandana Hospital. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in transcribing medical reports and ensuring the accuracy and completeness of patient medical records. This is a full-time position located at our headquarters in Bangalore, suitable for candidates with relevant work experience in medical transcription.

Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy, and physiology.
Strong listening and comprehension skills to interpret and transcribe complex medical information accurately.
Excellent typing speed and accuracy, with a minimum of 60 words per minute.
Familiarity with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and medical transcription software.
Attention to detail and ability to spot errors in transcribed documents.
Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations.
Strong time-management skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities
Listen to the recorded dictations of healthcare professionals and accurately transcribe them into written reports.
Edit and proofread transcriptions for grammar, clarity, consistency, and medical accuracy.
Ensure all transcriptions are completed and submitted within established deadlines.
Identify inconsistencies or discrepancies in medical reports and verify them with the healthcare provider.
Enter transcriptions into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system or other designated databases.
Keep up to date with new medical terminology and advancements in the healthcare field.
Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations and patient confidentiality standards.
Collaborate with medical staff to ensure accuracy and completeness of medical records.
