We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR payroll specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing all aspects of payroll processing and ensuring accuracy and compliance with relevant regulations and company policies. The HR Payroll Specialist will also handle employee inquiries related to payroll and benefits, maintain payroll records, and assist with other HR-related tasks as needed.
Key responsibilities:
1. Process payroll accurately and promptly using payroll software/system
2. Review and verify timesheets, attendance records, and other relevant documents for accuracy
3. Respond to employee inquiries regarding payroll, benefits, and related policies
4. Maintain accurate payroll records and files, including employee information, tax withholding forms, and payroll reports
5. Prepare payroll reports for management review, including payroll summaries, tax filings, and year-end reports
6. Collaborate with HR team members to ensure seamless coordination between payroll and other HR functions
7. Stay updated on changes in payroll laws, regulations, and best practices to ensure compliance and recommend process improvements
2. Those who are from or open to relocate to Mumbai and neighboring cities
Other requirements
1. Bachelor's degree in human resources, accounting, business administration, or related field preferred
2. Proven experience as an HR payroll specialist or similar role, with a strong understanding of payroll processes, tax regulations, and compliance requirements
