1. Manage daily human resource functions including employee relations, employee onboarding, leave administration, and performance management
2. Manage and address employee relations issues through coaching and counseling performance management issues
3. Work closely with HR specialty areas to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and employment law
4. Manage and address employee relations issues
5. Serve as coach/advisor for performance management issues
6. Ensure that all staff activities and operations are performed in compliance with applicable state, local, and federal regulations
7. Ensure compliance of personnel transactions with institute policies, employment law, and union contractual provisions, with particular emphasis on non-academic employees (i.e., administrative, secretarial, clerical, technical, security, and facilities staff)
8. Oversee talent management cycles and processes to include workforce planning, talent reviews, performance management, succession planning, and learning management
9. Maintain social media sites for recruiting and employee relations purposes
