In-House Counsel Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Handling Court Cases in Ramanagara District Court Complex:
Managing all cases related to the company in the Ramanagara District Court Complex.
Independently handling Original Suits (OS) and Interlocutory Applications (IAs).
Providing weekly case status updates.
Preparing detailed weekly reports on ongoing cases.
Assisting the Senior Counsel whenever required.

2. Representation in Revenue Courts:
Experience in representing clients before revenue courts, land tribunals, and appellate authorities.

3. Drafting Pleadings:
Proficiency in drafting writ petitions, appeals, and affidavits concerning matters under the Karnataka Land Reforms (KLR) Act.

4. Cross-Examination:
Skilled in challenging fraudulent tenancy claims and resolving disputes over landholdings through cross-examination.

5. Coordination with Government Authorities:
Liaising with revenue officials, land tribunals, and sub-registrar offices to address and manage land-related issues.

6. Stakeholder Communication:
Simplifying and explaining land law implications to the management to support informed decision-making.

7. Public Notices and Legal Opinions:
Drafting clear legal opinions on land transactions.
Issuing public notices to clarify ownership and address any ambiguities.
