1. Implementing lean production principles to reduce waste and improve efficiency across manufacturing processes.
2. Designing and optimizing production line layouts, workshop configurations, and capacity planning to maximize productivity and resource utilization.
3. Introducing trial and mass production project machine tools and fixtures, conduct process reviews, and designing production capacity (Units Per Hour - UPH).
4. Reviewing and optimizing tooling and fixtures, measure standard working hours, improve line stability rates, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
5. Specializing in one specific area of Industrial Engineering (IE) such as process optimization, capacity planning, or quality assurance, while maintaining a broad understanding of related disciplines.
Required skills and qualifications:
1. Bachelor s degree in industrial engineering, mechanical engineering, or a related field.
2. Proven experience in implementing lean production techniques and improving production efficiency within a manufacturing environment.
3. Strong proficiency in production line process layout, workshop layout planning, and capacity planning.
4. Experience in introducing and optimizing machine tools, fixtures, and production equipment.
5. Ability to analyze data, identify improvement opportunities, and implement effective solutions.
6. Proficiency in one specific area of Industrial Engineering (e.g., process optimization, capacity planning) with familiarity across other IE disciplines.
7. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
