About the job

Key responsibilities:

1. Identify potential leads through research, referrals, and outbound prospecting efforts (cold calls, emails, and networking).
2. Build and maintain strong relationships with prospective clients through effective communication and follow-up strategies.
3. Conduct online product demonstrations and presentations, explaining the features and benefits of our solutions.
4. Stay updated with the latest offerings, solutions, and industry trends in educational technology to provide accurate information to clients.
5. Engage in contract negotiations, manage customer expectations, and close sales deals successfully.
6. Maintain detailed records of sales activities, leads, opportunities, and outcomes in CRM systems.
7. Work closely with the marketing and product teams to align sales strategies with company goals and ensure customer satisfaction.
8. Provide excellent post-sale support to customers, ensuring a smooth onboarding process and identifying opportunities for upselling or cross-selling.

Other requirements

1. Proven experience in inside sales, telesales, or a similar role, preferably in the EdTech or B2B space.

2. Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage prospects and customers.

3. Knowledge of educational technology solutions or a keen interest in the education sector.

4. Excellent negotiation, presentation, and closing skills.

5. Ability to work independently and as part of a team to achieve sales targets.

6. Experience with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.

7. Goal-oriented, with the ability to prioritize and manage time effectively.

Education & Experience:

8. Bachelor’s degree in business, marketing, education, or related field.

9. 1-3 years of experience in inside sales, preferably in the EdTech industry.

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 2,15,000 - 6,25,000 /year

Annual CTC breakup:

1. Fixed pay: ₹ 2,00,000 - 6,00,000 /year

2. Variable pay: ₹ 15,000 - 25,000 /year
