We are seeking a Junior Intensivist to join our team in Tiruchirappalli on a full-time basis. The candidate will have a minimum of 1 to 3 years of experience in critical care and will be responsible for delivering exceptional patient care in the Intensive Care Unit. Qualifications and Skills
Proficiency in patient stabilization techniques, ensuring quick and effective medical response (Mandatory skill).
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification, indicating ability to handle cardiac emergencies (Mandatory skill).
In-depth knowledge of Intensive Care Unit (ICU) protocols for maintaining high-quality care standards (Mandatory skill).
Expertise in critical care medicine to ensure comprehensive patient management and outcomes.
Experience with ventilator management, providing respiratory support and monitoring as needed.
Ability to perform efficiently in emergency medicine, responding promptly to critical situations.
Collaborative spirit to work with a multidisciplinary team, fostering effective communication among healthcare professionals.
Continuous monitoring and assessment skills to keep track of patient progress and adjust treatment plans.
Roles and Responsibilities
Manage and stabilize patients in the Intensive Care Unit, ensuring adherence to treatment protocols.
Conduct advanced cardiac life support interventions when necessary to save lives.
Collaborate with the healthcare team to devise comprehensive care plans tailored to patient needs.
Regularly monitor patient vitals and assess progress, making adjustments to treatment as required.
Operate and manage ventilators and other critical care equipment efficiently.
Liaise with specialists from various disciplines to coordinate patient care and treatment plans.
Participate in continuous education and training to stay updated on the latest critical care practices.
Communicate effectively with patients' families, providing updates and education regarding treatment and prognosis.
