Key Responsibilities:

1. Client collaboration: Engage with clients to understand their needs and preferences, translating their vision into practical design concepts.
2. Concept development: Generate innovative design concepts, sketches, and detailed presentations for client approval.
3. Technical drawings: Produce accurate and comprehensive working drawings and specifications, ensuring they meet all project requirements.
4. Trend analysis: Stay current with industry trends, materials, and technologies to incorporate the latest advancements into designs.
5. Project coordination: Liaise with contractors, suppliers, and stakeholders to ensure projects are executed smoothly and within deadlines.
6. Budget management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation and cost control.
7. Site supervision: Conduct site visits to oversee installations, ensuring designs are implemented correctly and to a high standard.
8. Problem solving: Identify and address design challenges throughout the project lifecycle, providing creative solutions.

Other requirements

1. Graduation or equivalent degree in interior design from a reputed institute in Mumbai, such as: Rachana Sansad School of Interior Design, St. Francis Institute of Art & Design, Sir J. J. Institute of Applied Art, Shreemati Nathibai Damodar, Thackersey Women's University, University of Mumbai.

2. Proven experience: 2 to 10 years as an interior designer.

3. Portfolio: Strong portfolio showcasing a variety of successfully completed projects.

4. Material knowledge: In-depth knowledge of the latest finishing materials and design trends.

5. Technical skills: Proficiency in creating detailed working drawings and GFC (good for construction) documents.

6. Communication skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with clients and teams.

7. Project management: Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

8. Creative problem-solving: Strong creative thinking and problem-solving skills.

9. Design software: Familiarity with industry-standard design software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp, Adobe Creative suite).

10. Design and detailing skills as per brief given.

11. Knowledge of latest finishing materials.

12. Ability to create design management & full knowledge of interior construction techniques like carpentry, electrical, civil, plumbing, AC, painting, polishing, etc.

13. Experience on working on diverse projects including residential, commercial, hospitality, etc.
