The Property Management In-Charge will oversee and manage day-to-day operations of residential and commercial properties, ensuring they are well-maintained, fully occupied, and comply with all regulatory requirements. This role demands excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, and strong interpersonal abilities to interact effectively with tenants, contractors, and property owners.
Key responsibilities:
1. Property Maintenance: Ensure all properties are properly maintained and repaired. Conduct regular inspections and address maintenance issues promptly.
2. Tenant Relations: Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a professional and timely manner. Facilitate lease renewals and manage lease agreements.
3. Financial Management: Oversee rent collections, deposit funds, and manage property budgets. Prepare financial statements and reports for property owners.
4. Vendor Management: Coordinate with contractors and service providers for property maintenance and repairs. Negotiate contracts and monitor service quality.
5. Compliance: Ensure all properties comply with local, state, and federal regulations. Manage and maintain records related to property management activities.
6. Marketing and Leasing: Develop and implement marketing strategies to attract new tenants. Conduct property showings and manage the leasing process.
7. Emergency Response: Handle emergency situations and property-related crises efficiently.
Proven experience in property management or a related field.
Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.
Bachelor's degree in property management, real estate, business administration, or a related field is preferred.
