The primary role of this role is to ensure accurate and timely accounting and financial operations for our organization. As a junior accountant, you will be involved in a variety of exciting challenges and activities.
Key responsibilities:
1. Manage all accounting transactions
2. Prepare budget forecasts
3. Publish financial statements on time
4. Handle monthly, quarterly, and annual closings
5. Reconcile accounts payable and receivable
6. Ensure timely vendor and client payments and inform well in time about payment statuses
7. Compute taxes and prepare tax returns
8. Manage balance sheets and profit/loss statements
9. Report on the company s financial health and liquidity
10. Audit financial transactions and documents
11. Reinforce financial data confidentiality and conduct database backups when necessary
12. Comply with financial policies and regulations
13. Work on TDS and advance tax payments and fillings
14. Work on GST fillings and payments.
15. Assist in monthly and year-end book closing
16. Prepare accounts payable cheques and process the same through net transfers/bank
17. Monitor balances of various accounts and related financial activity
18. Work on monthly tax deposit
Skills & Requirements:
1. Should have basic knowledge of accounts
2. Should have at least 2-3 years of experience in accounts
3. Should be an expert in handling Zoho books
