Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, or related field.
1 to 2 years of experience as an Accountant or in a similar role.
Proficient in using accounting software (e.g. Tally) and MS Office (especially Excel).
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

Process and prepare financial and business forms for the purpose of checking account balances, facilitating purchases, maintaining expense accounts, payments, and payroll.
Enter data, maintain records, and create reports and financial statements.
Assist with budget preparations and monitor budgets.
Review and audit financial statements and reports, ensure all calculations and data entries are correct.
Reconcile any discrepancies or errors identified by conversing with employees and/or clients.
Assemble documents for external auditors and assist with tax audits and tax returns.
Provide general accounting support to the finance team.
Perform other accounting duties as assigned.
