Key responsibilities:
1. Assist senior advocates in providing legal advice and support in areas such as company law, arbitration act, and general corporate matters
2. Conduct legal research to gather relevant information and precedents for cases and legal opinions
3. Draft and review legal documents, including contracts, agreements, and memoranda, under the guidance of senior associates
4. Support the preparation of case materials, including compiling evidence, organizing documents.
5. Attend court proceedings, hearings, and meetings with clients and senior advocates to gain exposure and contribute to the legal team's efforts
6. Collaborate with team members to develop legal strategies and arguments for cases
7. Stay updated on legal developments, changes in legislation, and industry trends to ensure the delivery of accurate and current legal advice
8. Maintain accurate and organized case files and documentation
9. Assist in client communication, ensuring timely responses and maintaining strong professional relationships
10. Actively participate in professional development activities, such as seminars and workshops, to enhance legal knowledge and skills
Salary and Benefits: The salary for this position is commensurate with experience and shall range between 2 LPA to 3 LPA.
LLB or equivalent degree from a reputed, recognized university
1-2 years of experience practicing law, with a focus on company law, arbitration act, or general corporate matters (preferred)
