This role is ideal for recent graduates or developers with some experience in backend development who are eager to grow their skills in the MERN stack, GraphQL, and microservices. You will collaborate with our front-end developers, product managers, and other team members to deliver robust and reliable applications.
Key responsibilities:
1. Build and maintain backend services and APIs that meet both technical and business requirements.
2. Work closely with front-end developers and other team members to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic.
3. Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code using best practices and industry-standard technologies.
4. Ensure the optimal performance and scalability of applications through regular code optimization and performance profiling.
5. Keep up with the latest backend development trends, libraries, and tools to drive continuous improvement.
6. Debug and resolve backend issues to support ongoing operations.
7. Assist in the design and implementation of microservices architecture to ensure modularity and scalability.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
2. Some experience or coursework in backend development, particularly with the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js).
3. Proficiency in JavaScript and Node.js, basic knowledge of GraphQL and how to integrate it with backend systems, and understanding of microservices architecture and principles.
4. Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and package managers (e.g., npm or yarn).
5. Good communication and teamwork abilities.
7. Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker) is a plus.
