Junior Chemist Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist in the analysis of soil samples for various parameters, such as pH, nutrient levels, and contaminants
2. Maintain laboratory equipment, instruments, and supplies, ensuring they are in good working condition
3. Enter data into laboratory software and assist in generating reports for clients
4. Assist in the development and validation of new methods and procedures for soil analysis
5. Participate in quality control activities, including proficiency testing and internal audits
6. Follow laboratory safety protocols and procedures, ensuring a safe working environment
7. Communicate effectively with colleagues, clients, and stakeholders, providing excellent customer service

Requirements:

1. Bachelor's degree in chemistry, soil science, or a related field
2. 0-2 years of experience in a laboratory setting, preferably in soil analysis
3. Proficient in laboratory techniques, including soil sampling, extraction, and analysis
4. Familiarity with laboratory certifications, such as ISO 17025
