Key responsibilities:

1. Conduct thorough keyword research to identify high-performing keywords
2. Monitor competitor keyword strategies and adjust accordingly
3. Optimize website content, meta tags, headers, and URLs for search engines
4. Ensure proper use of keywords, internal linking, and HTML tags
5. Build quality backlinks through guest posts, directory submissions, and link-building strategies
6. Engage in social media promotion and influencer outreach for SEO benefits
7. Monitor and improve site architecture, crawling, indexing, and website loading speed
8. Address errors in search console and improve mobile-friendliness
9. Collaborate with content teams to create SEO-friendly content
10. Ensure all published content is optimized for targeted keywords and user experience
11. Track website traffic, rankings, and other SEO metrics using tools like Google Analytics and Search Console
12. Prepare and present regular performance reports to management
13. Keep up-to-date with the latest SEO algorithms, techniques, and tools
14. Implement necessary changes to stay ahead in search rankings
