Key responsibilities:

1. Contribute to marketing strategy by leveraging social media to identify and acquire customers
2. Obtain market share by developing social media marketing plans and programs for each product and directing promotional support
3. Maintain online relations with customers by organizing and developing specific customer-relations programs
4. Provide short and long-term market forecasts and reports by directing market research collection, analysis and interpretation of market data
5. Develop new approaches for market development, acquiring and analyzing data, and consulting with internal and external sources
6. Maintain research database by identifying and assembling marketing information
7. Provide marketing information by answering questions and requests
8. Work on achieving financial objectives by preparing an annual budget, scheduling expenditures, analyzing variances and initiating corrective actions
9. Work on operational requirements of the social media marketing department by scheduling and assigning employees & following up on work results
10. Maintain social media marketing staff by recruiting, selecting, orienting and training employees
11. Maintain social media marketing staff job results by counselling and disciplining employees and planning, monitoring & appraising job results
