We are a Gurgaon-based interior design company writing software to be used by interior designers, architects, clients and vendors in our industry. The software application is being developed using the MERN Stack. Some work has already been done on this software application. We are looking to hire a Junior developer who has strong development skills and can work with minimum supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, implement, and maintain server-side logic using Node.js.
2. Develop RESTful APIs and integrate them with frontend services.
3. Manage and maintain MongoDB databases.
4. Implement data modeling and optimization using Mongoose.
5. Write clean, maintainable, and efficient code.
6. Conduct unit and integration tests using Mocha, Chai, or Jest.
7. Document API endpoints and backend processes
The job is based in Gurgaon, Monday - Saturday, 10:00 AM - 7:00 PM. You would have to work 2 days out of the office, at least until remote work becomes productive. Also, there is a 3-month probationary period, after which the job will become permanent.
1. Candidates with minimum 1 years of experience.
The right candidate will possess the following skills and meet the stated criteria:
1. Proficiency in JavaScript (ES6+).
2. Understanding of Asynchronous Programming (Familiarity with callbacks, promises, and async/await).
3. Knowledge of Node.js Fundamentals Knowledge of event-driven architecture and non-blocking I/O.
4. Experience with Core Modules such as HTTP, FS, and Streams.
5. Ability to build web applications and APIs using these frameworks - Express.js or Koa.js.
6. Understanding of MongoDB - NoSQL database principles and operations.
7. Ability to design and implement RESTful APIs.
8. Must have own reliable laptop.
9. Must be willing to work hard and learn quickly.
10. Willing to work in a demanding startup environment.
Annual CTC: ₹ 2,40,000 - 3,60,000 /year
We are a boutique interior design firm based in Gurgaon. We do office and residential interiors in Delhi NCR region. Historically, our project size has ranged between 2,000-30,000 sq. ft. We have around 8-10 live projects at any given time. All interior design firms exist to 'design and execute.'
