Junior Video Production Editor Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Assist with video editing tasks including cutting, trimming, and assembling raw footage to create compelling video content
2. Collaborate with the creative team to conceptualize and develop engaging video concepts and storyboards
3. Work closely with senior editors to learn and apply best practices in video editing techniques and software
4. Organize and maintain video assets, including file management and archiving
5. Contribute to brainstorming sessions and provide creative input for video projects
6. Assist with on-location shoots as needed, including setting up equipment and capturing behind-the-scenes footage
7. Keep up-to-date with industry trends and new technologies in video editing software and techniques
8. Support other production tasks and projects as assigned by the senior team members

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor s degree in Film Production, Multimedia, or related field preferred
2. Proficiency in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or DaVinci Resolve
3. Basic understanding of video production techniques, including camera operation, lighting, and audio recording
4. Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
5. Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and take direction from senior team members
6. Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and visual communication
7. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
8. Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
