Job Description:
Diversified Network & Infra Solutions Pvt. Ltd. (DNISPL) is hiring an L1 Network Engineer (SD-WAN) to provide first-level technical support, troubleshoot network issues, and ensure seamless SD-WAN operations. The selected candidate will collaborate with senior network engineers, IT teams, and clients to diagnose and resolve network-related incidents efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Monitor, manage, and support SD-WAN infrastructure to ensure optimal performance.
2. Perform initial troubleshooting and resolution of SD-WAN-related network issues, including connectivity, performance, and security concerns.
3. Assist in the deployment, configuration, and testing of SD-WAN devices.
4. Work on incident tickets, log analysis, and escalate issues to L2/L3 engineers when necessary.
5. Collaborate with service providers, customers, and internal teams for network issue resolution.
6. Maintain and update documentation for network configurations, processes, and troubleshooting steps.
7. Perform basic configuration changes under the guidance of senior engineers.
8. Assist in network performance monitoring using various network management tools.
9. Provide remote support and guidance for field engineers and end-users.
10. Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and adhere to SLAs for issue resolution
Required Skills & Qualifications:
1. Basic understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and VPN technologies.
2. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions (Cisco Viptela, Fortinet preferred).
3. Knowledge of network security principles, firewalls, and VPN configurations.
4. Familiarity with WAN optimization, QoS, and network monitoring tools.
5. Experience working with ticketing systems and remote troubleshooting.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Good communication skills and a customer service-oriented approach.
8. Willingness to work in shifts, including weekends if required.
