Job Description:
The 'L2 Network Engineer (SD-WAN)' will be responsible for providing second-level technical support, troubleshooting complex network issues, and ensuring the stability and security of SD-WAN solutions. The engineer will work closely with L1 support, customers, and senior engineers to resolve issues efficiently and optimize network performance.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Manage and troubleshoot SD-WAN solutions, ensuring optimal performance and security.
2. Perform advanced diagnostics and resolve escalated network issues from L1 engineers.
3. Work on network incidents, root cause analysis, and provide detailed resolution plans.
4. Assist in configuring, implementing, and testing SD-WAN solutions.
5. Collaborate with vendors, ISPs, and cross-functional teams for issue resolution and upgrades.
6. Monitor network performance, conduct traffic analysis, and suggest improvements.
7. Perform firmware upgrades, patching, and security updates for SD-WAN devices.
8. Provide technical documentation, reports, and SOPs for network configurations and troubleshooting steps.
9. Implement changes in compliance with change management policies.
10. Train and mentor L1 engineers, providing technical guidance and best practices.

Preferred Qualifications:
1. Hands-on experience with cloud networking and SD-WAN integration.
2. Knowledge of ITIL processes and best practices.
3. Experience in deploying QoS and WAN optimization techniques.
4. Certifications such as CCNP, and NSE4 are preferred.

Other requirements

Experience: 1-3+ years in Network Support, SD-WAN, and troubleshooting

Educational Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. CCNP or equivalent certification preferred.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

1. In-depth understanding of networking protocols such as TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, MPLS, and VPN technologies.

2. Hands-on experience with SD-WAN solutions such as Cisco Viptela, and Fortinet.

3. Strong knowledge of firewall policies, security protocols, and threat mitigation.

4. Experience in network monitoring tools and troubleshooting methodologies.

5. Ability to analyze network logs and packet captures for issue resolution.

6. Good communication skills and ability to work in a collaborative environment.

7. Availability for on-call support and shift rotations when required.

Salary

Annual CTC: ₹ 4,50,000 - 5,00,000 /year
