Zenia is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Corporate Lawyer to join our legal team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing all legal aspects of our business operations, ensuring compliance with local and national laws, and providing legal guidance to various departments within the company.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Legal compliance: Ensure that all company operations comply with relevant laws and regulations. Stay updated with changes in legislation that may impact the company's activities.
2. Contract management: Draft, review, and negotiate a wide range of contracts, including service agreements, lease agreements, vendor contracts, and employment contracts.
3. Regulatory affairs: Liaise with regulatory bodies and ensure all necessary licenses and permits are obtained and maintained.
4. Dispute resolution: Manage and resolve legal disputes and litigation involving the company. Represent the company in court and during arbitration proceedings when necessary.
5. Risk management: Identify potential legal risks and develop strategies to mitigate them. Advise senior management on the legal implications of business decisions.
6. Coordination with departments: Work closely with other departments, including operations, finance, HR, and marketing, to provide legal support and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
7. Paperwork and documentation: Oversee the preparation and filing of all legal documentation. Ensure that all corporate records are accurately maintained and securely stored.
8. Training and guidance: Provide training and guidance to employees on legal matters and company policies. Foster a culture of legal awareness within the organization.
9. Assisting in business strategy and development.
