As the Technical Sales Support, you will be reporting to the Director of Emerging Markets. You will play a crucial role in driving the green transition in India by positioning PIXII s modular and functional energy storage technologies as attractive solutions among system integrators, value-added resellers, and installers. You will work in a team with commercial people and other technical experts in PIXII globally. You will also work closely with PIXII s global team in R&D and Customer Success. This position offers an exciting opportunity to drive new innovative solutions for reliable and green electrification in India.
Key responsibilities:
1. Support the sales team in India in addressing technical queries related to our bi-directional power converters and associated control and communication interfaces.
2. Assist with installation and commissioning of PIXII energy storage systems. This would include providing technical support, services, and troubleshooting with online support from the technical R & D team based in Norway / Europe
3. Undertake Engineering and Customization of PIXII BESS systems with support from R & D team based in Norway/Europe
4. Organize and conduct technical training of PIXII s customers and partners in India
5. Feedback to the rest of the PIXII organization ideas and suggestions for technical enhancements.
6. Lead the customization of our Battery Energy Storage Systems to be in line with Indian regulations and grid code etc, ensuring optimal performance, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
7. Oversee the implementation of BESS projects from a technical perspective, from concept to commissioning, ensuring adherence to quality standards and project timelines.
8. Collaborate with the R&D in Norway team to drive innovation and continuous improvement in BESS technology driving next-generation DC block design, and staying ahead of industry trends and customer requirements.
After onboarding in Pixii, the selected candidate/employee may have to undergo training in Europe initially to understand the operations and technicalities of the product. Pixii will bear all the travel expenses.
1. Candidates with minimum 3 years of experience.
1. Minimum Bachelors in Power Electronics and communication. A masters/PhD in a relevant field is an advantage.
2. Minimum 5 years experience in relevant Field (3 plus years for Master’s candidate)
3. Hands-on Experience with electrical systems, controllers, and communication equipment.
4. Experience in Power conversion and Electronics.
5. Experience in DC & AC systems and their integration with batteries, BMS, auxiliaries and EMS integration is a plus.
6. Experience in Battery Energy Storage Systems (BESS), with a focus on Modular ESS solutions is a plus.
7. Experience as a Field application in BESS for providing technical support for system integration, troubleshooting, and optimizing performance is an advantage.
8. Agile, hardworking and able to work in a dynamic environment of a high-growth company.
9. Willing to travel both nationally and internationally.
