Key responsibilities:

1. Create technical drawings, manufacturing schematics, and 2D and 3D digital models of mechanical designs, using measurements, specifications, and additional data from the engineering team
2. Be responsible for providing detailed drawings and assembly drawings for 3D modeling
3. Acquire technical data via catalogs, the internet, and vendors, to create models and drawings
4. Maintain relationships between models and drawing files in an organized fashion
5. Create and check assembly layouts and detail part drawings

Required skills:

1. Tools: Solidworks, AutoCAD
2. 2D drafting: GD&T, stack, tolerance, and fit analysis
3. Standards: welding (AWS, ISO), SST (ASTM B117)
4. Strong attention to detail and mathematical abilities
5. Able to work within strict deadlines
6. Professional certification in mechanical drafting
7. Experience with the mechanical manufacturing process
8. Should have knowledge of implementing BOM in 2D drawing
