Qualifications and Skills

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
Proven experience as a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer
Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and equipment
Ability to troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical failures
Analytical skills to assess equipment performance and recommend improvements
Experience in team building and mentoring
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Knowledge of health and safety regulations

Roles and Responsibilities

Conduct regular maintenance and inspection of mechanical equipment to ensure optimal performance
Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures and breakdowns
Collaborate with the maintenance team to develop effective maintenance strategies
Assist in the installation, modification, and commissioning of mechanical equipment
Evaluate and recommend improvements to the mechanical systems and processes
Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and equipment performance
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Train and mentor junior maintenance staff
