Mechanical Software Trainer/Faculty Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Work with large datasets to extract, clean, and manage data effectively using SQL and Python
2. Ensure data accuracy and integrity to support the client's platform
3. Develop and maintain web scraping scripts to gather information about courses, certifications, and skill domains
4. Monitor and refine scraping processes to ensure efficient and reliable data extraction
5. Analyse and interpret data to support key business decisions and enhance platform content
6. Generate insights that align with the needs of business transformation initiatives
7. Work closely with the taxonomy, platform, and analytics teams to align data efforts with strategic goals
8. Document processes and methodologies to maintain transparency and reproducibility

Requirements:

1. Strong command of SQL for database management and query optimization
2. Proficiency in Python for data analysis, web scraping, and process automation
3. Proficiency in Power BI will be an added advantage
4. Hands-on experience with web scraping tools and frameworks (e.g., BeautifulSoup, Scrapy, Selenium)
5. Knowledge of handling web data extraction challenges such as pagination and CAPTCHA
6. Ability to analyze data and generate actionable insights
7. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
8. Clear and effective communication to collaborate with cross-functional teams
9. Strong documentation skills to support knowledge sharing
