Medical Coder Hcc Job

Selected intern's day-to-day responsibilities include:

1. Recognize key details in a patient record to apply the appropriate codes
2. Should have worked on HCC projects
3. Reviews the documentation in patients' medical records and translates the same into universally accepted, industry-standard medical codes.
4. Understand basic coding guidelines and ability to interpret Super bills & Medical records for ICD-10, CPT & HCPCS
5. To code charts based on standard coding tools (AAPC coding manuals & Super coder)
6. To check with the Team Leader for any client updates
7. Meeting all set productivity and quality targets including TAT
