We are seeking a skilled 'Senior MERN Stack Developer' to join our growing team. As a 'Senior Developer', you will be responsible for leading the development and maintenance of our applications, ensuring high performance and responsiveness. You will collaborate closely with our product management and design teams to define and implement innovative solutions for the product direction, visuals, and experience.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Develop new user-facing features using React.js
2. Build reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
3. Translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code
4. Optimize components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers
5. Lead the entire web application development lifecycle right from concept stage to delivery and post-launch support
6. Collaborate with the rest of the engineering team to design and launch new features
7. Maintain code integrity and organization through proper version control and documentation
8. Stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends and apply them to operations and activities
9. Monitor, troubleshoot, and debug deployed applications
Additional Preferred Skills:
1. Experience with AWS or other cloud services
2. Knowledge of Agile/Scrum development methodologies
3. Previous experience in a startup environment

Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
- Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
- Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux) - Knowledge of Node.js and Express.js for backend development
- Experience with MongoDB
- Good understanding of server-side CSS preprocessors (such as Sass or LESS)
- Familiarity with RESTful API development
- Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
- Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically
- Strong organizational and project management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality software on time
