MIS Cum Accountant Job

Key Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain effective MIS to support decision-making processes.
Generate regular reports on key performance indicators (KPIs) for management review.
Ensure the accuracy, integrity, and security of MIS data.
Oversee the day-to-day accounting activities, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries.
Prepare and review financial statements, ensuring compliance with accounting principles and company policies.
Perform monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close processes.
Conduct financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
Provide insights and recommendations based on financial data to support strategic decision-making.
Assist in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic forecasts.
Monitor budget performance and report on variances.
Ensure compliance with local and national tax regulations.
Coordinate with external tax advisors for tax filings and audits.
Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting and MIS.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights for MIS reporting.
Provide guidance and mentorship to junior accounting staff.
Coordinate and assist in the annual external audit process.
Prepare audit schedules and respond to auditor inquiries.

Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
Proven experience in MIS development and financial accounting, with a minimum 3-5 years of relevant experience.
Advanced proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP) and MIS tools (e.g., Excel, Tableau).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
