The successful candidate will lead and execute advanced molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and gene expression analysis. This role requires expertise in molecular biology, hands-on experience with flow cytometry, and familiarity with next-generation sequencing (NGS) technologies. The specialist will contribute to cutting-edge research and therapeutic projects while ensuring compliance with laboratory safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Design, plan, and execute molecular biology experiments, including nucleic acid extraction, PCR, and gene expression studies.
2. Perform cell-based assays and flow cytometry for cell analysis and characterization.
3. Develop and optimize molecular biology protocols, ensuring reproducibility and scalability.
4. Analyze and interpret experimental data, prepare detailed reports, and present findings to the team.
5. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate molecular biology techniques into broader research initiatives.
6. Maintain laboratory compliance with safety, quality, and regulatory requirements.
7. Stay abreast of the latest advancements in molecular biology and flow cytometry technologies and apply them to ongoing research projects.
Qualifications:
1. Master's or PhD in molecular biology, biotechnology, or a related field.
2. Proven hands-on experience with molecular biology techniques, including PCR, qPCR, and nucleic acid extraction.
3. Proficiency in flow cytometry for cell analysis and characterization.
4. Strong understanding of molecular biology principles, gene expression, and sequencing techniques.
5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
6. Strong written and verbal communication skills.
