1. Bachelors degree in naval architecture, marine engineering, or a related field. Advanced degrees may be preferred for certain roles
2. Strong understanding of marine engineering principles, including hydrodynamics, structural analysis, and propulsion systems
3. Prior experience in marine engineering, shipbuilding, or related industries is a plus
4. Proficiency in computer-aided design (CAD) software, such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, or Rhino, and familiarity with simulation tools like ANSYS or CFD
5. Effective communication and teamwork abilities, with the capacity to collaborate with diverse stakeholders and present technical information clearly and persuasively
6. Attention to detail and a commitment to quality, safety, and regulatory compliance in all aspects of design and construction
