We are seeking a skilled 'Network Engineer' with a minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience in Cisco and Fortinet firewalls, switching, and network security. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, implementing, and managing network architectures, including the configuration of devices via CLI and planning and deploying enterprise Wi-Fi networks.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Network architecture & design:
-Design and implement robust network architectures tailored to meet the specific needs of enterprise clients.
-Develop network layouts, considering security, scalability, and performance, using Cisco and Fortinet technologies.
2. Configuration & implementation:
-Configure and deploy network devices, including firewalls, routers, and switches, using CLI and other management tools.
-Plan and implement enterprise Wi-Fi networks, ensuring optimal coverage and performance.
3. Network security:
-Ensure comprehensive network security by implementing firewall policies, access controls, and monitoring systems.
-Regularly audit network security measures to protect against vulnerabilities and threats.
4. Troubleshooting & support:
-Diagnose and resolve complex network issues, both on-site and remotely.
-Provide exceptional customer support, handling escalations, and performing site visits as necessary.
5. Monitoring & maintenance:
-Continuously monitor network performance and health, proactively addressing potential issues.
-Conduct routine maintenance and updates on network devices to ensure stability and security.
Required skillsets:
1. Cisco & Fortinet expertise: Proficient in configuring, managing, and troubleshooting Cisco and Fortinet firewalls and switching equipment.
2. Network architecture & implementation: Experience in designing and implementing network architectures independently.
3. Technical proficiency: Strong understanding of OSI, TCP/IP, routing, switching, and configuration via CLI.
4. Wi-Fi network planning: Skilled in planning and implementing enterprise-grade Wi-Fi networks.
5. Network security: Comprehensive knowledge of network security principles and best practices.
6. Troubleshooting & support: Ability to debug and troubleshoot network issues, providing both on-site and remote support to clients.
