Network Security Engineer Job

Key responsibilities:

1. Install and support firewalls and other security appliances with at least three years of experience
2. Configure and deploy Cisco and HP networking equipment, FortiGate, Palo Alto, and Checkpoint security devices
3. Implement and manage networking protocols such as BGP, OSPF, EIGRP, STP, VLANs, Port-Channel, Static Routing, and MPLS
4. Utilize command-line interfaces for configuring firewalls and switches efficiently
5. Apply strong networking knowledge to troubleshoot and optimize system performance
6. Design, configure, migrate, tune, and customize firewall and security device features
7. Manage and secure network traffic using SSL, VPN, VLANs, and other security protocols
8. Work in data center environments and handle hosted/cloud deployments
9. Support clients remotely and on-site, ensuring smooth network operations
10. Analyze network traffic using tools like Wireshark and other protocol analyzers
11. Communicate effectively, both written and verbal, with technical and non-technical stakeholders
12. Work flexibly outside business hours as needed for client site support
13. Maintain composure under pressure and apply a logical problem-solving approach
