Job Overview
We are seeking a talented NPD Engineer. As an NPD Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and implementing new product designs and enhancements in the Automotive/Manufacturing industry. This is a full-time position located in Chakan, Maharashtra, India. The ideal candidate will have experience in NPD and possess a strong background in engineering and manufacturing.
Qualifications and Skills
Bachelor's degree in Engineering or equivalent
Experience in NPD or related field
Strong knowledge of engineering principles and manufacturing processes
Experience with product development methodologies
Analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams
Proficiency in CAD software and other engineering tools
Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
Strong project management skills
Roles and Responsibilities
Develop and implement new product designs and enhancements
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define project requirements and objectives
Coordinate prototype development and testing
Conduct design reviews and provide feedback for continuous improvement
Analyze product performance data and troubleshoot design issues
Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations
Collaborate with suppliers and manufacturers to optimize product quality and cost
Provide technical support and guidance to production teams
Manage project timelines and deliverables
Communicate project status and updates to key stakeholders
