Job Summary:
The Pastoral Care Coordinator promotes an inclusive, supportive environment for individuals with diverse needs. This role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to develop, implement, and monitor inclusive programs and strategies within the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Program Development: Design and implement inclusive programs to support diverse backgrounds and needs.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with staff, parents, and external agencies to ensure a cohesive support approach.
Individualized Support: Assess needs and develop tailored plans for individuals requiring additional support.
Training: Conduct training on inclusivity and sensitivity for staff.
Advocacy: Promote equal opportunities and remove accessibility barriers.
Monitoring & Evaluation: Track program effectiveness, maintain records, and analyze data.
Resource Management: Manage resources and source external partnerships.
Compliance: Ensure adherence to laws, policies, and IB requirements.
Qualifications:
Masters in Special Education or postgraduate in SEN (Level 4 SEND certification)
Bachelors in Counseling, Psychology, or related field; Masters preferred
5+ years in SEN education, with 2+ years as SEN Coordinator
Desirable: Counseling certification, mental health first aid
1. Candidates with minimum 4 years of experience.
