Key responsibilities:
1. Work on both back-end and front-end development, including modifying WordPress themes and plugins
2. Program and deploy web-based user interfaces for internal software and client websites
3. Use basic programming and web design skills to optimize websites for SEO purposes
4. Keep abreast of changes with SEO strategies, tactics, and search algorithm shifts
5. Identify and repair SEO issues on client websites
6. Work with web designers and strategists to improve the layout, navigation, and display of a website to enhance its search engine ranking
Skills & Requirements:
1. Should have programming skills (namely PHP, HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript) and aesthetics (understanding element arrangements on the screen, color and font choices, etc.)
2. Should have a strong understanding of industry trends and content management systems and SEO best practices
3. Experience with responsive and adaptive design is strongly preferred
4. Understanding of the entire web development process, including design, development, and deployment is preferred
