Key responsibilities:
1. Conducting analysis of website and application requirements
2. Writing back-end code and building efficient PHP modules
3. Developing back-end portals with an optimized database
4. Troubleshooting application and code issues

6. Responding to integration requests from front-end developers
7. Finalizing back-end features and testing web applications

Requirements:
1. Bachelors degree in computer science or a similar field
2. Knowledge of frameworks including ExtJS, Yii, Laravel, and CodeIgniter
3. Knowledge of front-end technologies including CSS3, JavaScript, and HTML5
4. Understanding of object-oriented PHP programming
5. Previous experience creating scalable applications
6. Proficient with code versioning tools including Git, Mercurial, CVS, and SVN
7. Familiarity with SQL/NoSQL databases preferably in MySQL
8. Ability to project manage
9. Good problem-solving skills
Additional information:
We are looking for a PHP developer responsible for managing back-end services and the interchange of data between the server and the users. Your primary focus will be the development of all server-side logic, definition, and maintenance of the central database, and ensuring high performance and responsiveness to requests from the front end. You will also be responsible for integrating the front-end elements built by your co-workers into the application. Therefore, a basic understanding of front-end technologies is necessary as well.
To ensure success as a PHP developer, you should have in-depth knowledge of object-oriented PHP programming, an understanding of MVC designs, and working knowledge of front-end technologies including HTML5, JavaScript, and CSS3. Ultimately, a top-level PHP developer can design and build efficient PHP modules while seamlessly integrating front-end technologies.
