Job Description

PPC Engineers are responsible for developing production plans and schedules to meet customer demands while optimizing resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials. They analyze production capacity, lead times, and inventory levels to create feasible production plans.
They monitor inventory levels of raw materials, work-in-progress (WIP), and finished goods to prevent stockouts or overages. PPC Engineers work closely with inventory control teams to maintain optimal inventory levels while minimizing carrying costs.
They create detailed production schedules and sequences for manufacturing operations, taking into account factors such as production lead times, machine availability, and workforce capacity. They ensure that production schedules align with customer orders and delivery commitments.
